Story Subtitler ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.
Data Collection
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not require account creation, and we do not track your usage.
Local Processing
All video and audio processing happens entirely on your device. Your videos are never uploaded to any server. Subtitle generation is performed using on-device speech recognition — your content stays private and under your control at all times.
Device Permissions
The App may request the following permissions:
- Photo Library — to select videos from your camera roll and save processed videos.
- Camera — to record new videos directly within the app (optional).
- Microphone — used in conjunction with the camera for recording audio alongside video (optional).
These permissions are only used for the features described above. Media accessed through these permissions is processed locally and is never transmitted off your device.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data collection services. There are no SDKs or frameworks that collect or share your data.
Data Storage
The App does not persist any user data between sessions. When you close the app, your session data (selected video, generated subtitles) is cleared. No data is stored on external servers.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect any personal data, it is safe for users of all ages.
